Autumn in Sydney

Hello there! How have you all been? Thought I would share some happy snaps from the past month hanging around Sydney.

We have had exceptional weather lately and it really doesn’t feel like winter is three weeks away. I do love spending as much time as I can on the weekends exploring Sydney. It is such a unique part of the world and if you haven’t yet visited, add it to your list!

Sydney is the home to amazing beaches, local cafes and restaraunts, boutique shopping, the friendliest people in the world and an incredible location compromising of mountains, rivers, country and the sea.

Here are some snaps at my favourite local places

Where in the world have you spent your April / May?

Autumn/Winter 2016

Happy Sunday friends! Currently in Sydney, Australia it’s a pretty miserable Sunday afternoon. It’s rainy, cold and quite dark outside. Hubby and I are making the most of it, snuggled up on the couch together. He’s doing his thing, watching the rugby, and I’m doing my thing scrolling through Pinterest and Insta, hunting for fashion inspo.

Thought I’d share some looks that have caught my eyes of late.

What looks are you loving right now?

Last Days Of Autumn

We are currently in the midst of winter in Sydney. Looking back on these photos I shot with my friend Grant ( makes Autumn feel like a long time ago. We did this shoot on a Sunday afternoon at sunset, at one of my favourite beaches nearby home.

I love how Grant captured everything in these photos – the frothy sea, the sky turning purple, the warmth of the sun, the soft sand…

Looking forward to Spring and longer days in the sun!

Golden Hours At Home

I thought I would share some of the pretty & vivid sunrises and sunsets we’ve been experiencing here in Australia. It’s currently Autumn and I always love this time of the year as the seasons transition. It gets dark by six o’clock now so I’m finding it increasingly important to savor the morning light.

Here are a couple of my photographs. Enjoy! A x

My Autumn 2015 Wishlist

As much as I am a summer girl and love everything about salty hair, beach waves, colourful rompers and my sandal collection there is something super edgy about Autumn fashion. Whether it’s the effortless cool look when you pair a beige coat with blue jeans or the great range of ankle boots out there, Autumn is the season to dress it up.

My essentials for this Autumn season include:

  • Black and beige pair of ankle boots
  • Caramel throw over coat
  • Plenty of knits – ponchos, sweaters, tops
  • Grey and white skirts
  • Oceanic and floral prints
  • Anything muted or pastel coloured – shawl or throw over poncho

Have a look at a few of my favourite pieces I’m eyeing this season!
